Tee Time Policy Update May 2025

The purpose of the Tee Time Policy is to ensure fair access to tee times for the entire membership. We encourage Members to play as often as they like to, but prime times must be shared/rotated when in demand.

Tee Time Booking Privileges

Tee times require names for all players, including guests, at the time of booking (no TBDs).

Weekdays (Monday thru Thursday)

Members may make tee times up to fourteen (14) days in advance.

Weekends (Friday thru Sunday)

Advanced Tee Times: Members may make/hold two (2) tee times (at any one time) up to 60 days in advance.

Short-Term Tee Times: Additionally, Members may book tee times up to two days (48 hours) in advance that do not
count
against the two Advanced tee times.

*Member Events such as the Member-Guest, Club Championship and GAP Matches do not count against the number of advanced tee times.

With this, there is an expectation of Pace of Play which is already laid out in the Rules & Regulations but has now been updated with further guidelines of the earliest morning tee times. It is a privilege to be able to go first on a weekend morning.  Your pace sets the tone for the entire day. Therefore, if a group cannot keep pace in those first two hours of play, you will not be entitled to making tee times in those first two hours.

Pace of Play

The acceptable standard for a four-ball is four (4) hours or less.  On weekend mornings, the first hour of tee times is held to a higher standard of three (3) hours and thirty (30) minutes or less.  The second hour of tee times is held to a standard of three (3) hours and forty-five (45) minutes or less.  If Members cannot play at that pace, those tee times will not be available for their use.

All Members, Family Participants, and guests are encouraged to play from the most favorable and user-friendly tee location and to play ready golf.

The Golf Professional Staff has full authority on the course and may ask any group to stand aside while the following group plays through or ask any group to skip a hole to catch the group ahead.

Players stopping after the 9th hole for lunch or any other reason and unduly delaying play must check-in with the Golf Professional Staff before resuming play.

If your pace is falling behind, The Golf Professional Staff will send a message on the cart GPS screen and/or by doing a “drive-by”.  This is an attempt to avoid altercation and to not embarrass anyone, especially in front of guests, but Members must recognize the message and pick up their pace.

We have also updated the policies and expectations regarding singles and twosomes. The intention of this is to be enforced
during the busiest days/times.

Play Regulated Based on Foursomes

Singles and twosomes have no priority over groups of four.  Fivesomes are only permitted if approved by the Golf Professional Staff. Singles and twosomes may book a tee time, but will be moved to the nearest available pairing, up to 7 days in advance, based on time of registration (newest moved to oldest) to provide a full tee time for the rest of the membership to consider/use as well as pace of play purposes. On the day of play, the Golf Professional Staff are required to pair twosomes and singles into threesomes and foursomes prior to 3pm unless play is so sparse that it is not necessary.

Reserving tee times in advance carries with it an obligation to use the time.  By holding tee times and not cancelling, you are preventing other members from those times.  All members share a responsibility to look out for one another.  We are a Club of equal access.

Failure to Cancel Tee Times & No Shows

Reserving tee times in advance carries with it an obligation to use the time.  The Club understands life happens and tee times may need to be cancelled, but any abuse of reserving tee times not in accordance with the Tee Time Booking Privileges will be subject to a suspension of playing privileges.  “No shows” who have a tee time and fail to cancel may be subject to all applicable fees, including guest fees, and are also subject to suspension of playing privileges.

We also want to take this opportunity to remind members of the Dress Code which is already laid out in the Rules & Regulations.  The Club is of the position in respecting the traditions of the game, including the professionalism of attire.  This includes when utilizing the practice facilities (driving range, chipping green and putting green).

Proper Attire & Shoes

It is expected that Members, Family Participants, and guests will be appropriately attired in a fashion befitting the surroundings and atmosphere provided in the setting of our Club Facilities.

Proper golf attire must be worn on the golf course and practice areas at all times.  Golf slacks or proper length shorts for ladies and gentleman are considered appropriate.  Other types of pants and excessively short or long shorts are inappropriate.  Shirts must have a collar or be a golf specific mock neck and must be tucked in at all times.  Only soft-spiked golf shoes are permitted at the Club Facilities and, in the Clubhouse, may only be worn in identified areas.

Members are expected to inform their Family Participants and guests of the Club’s dress code policies.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we shift the policies to better service all members.

Play often, play fast, and rotate usage at the most in demand times. This is the simple motto that will define the success of our Membership.
